Wish I had clients that let me even set up lights for interviews lol. Half the time they want a one man band, 3 hours only for the interview, and no location scouting so its usually a white wall room. 🎉 i am stuck in the gutter 🎉

What you're actually saying is that you're shooting promos instead of doing trustworthy documentaries. Adding smoke that doesn't actually exist creates the wrong impression that his garage is *normally* full of water vapor fog. Adding smoke to the forest makes it seem like the forest is ON FIRE, not that the video is "cinematic". It makes it *seem like* these videos were taken in Alberta *specifically* during the year of forest fires, WHILE a forest fire was raging in the area, and he & your crew were making the situation worse by risking your lives & failing to leave the danger zone, because you didn't give the audience enough information to understand that you were secretly altering the shoot location & failed to inform them about what you had done! So don't ever call these "documentaries" because the ethics of journalism have been violated in a great big obvious way by these unethical practices.
